Im mulling over the idea of perhaps writing scripts for flash cartoons and working with animators, idk, I'm definitely no artist, nor do I have the time or money, but I love this site so would love to contribute creatively, and I love writing.

to anyone interested in making a serious toned animation, i have a monologue you may be interested. currently the narration is written to be read, not animated, but if anyone's interested i will cut it down, based on input from the animator, and do my best to fix up the wordy bits.
but the monologue is very poetic, and rather dark in nature, tho not disturbing, just cynical and insightful.

If interested, send me a message and ill send you the script so you can look at it and decide if its something you'd like to work on

Heres a snippet, again, things will be cut down for the sake of the animations length, but this is the ending of the monologue:

"I'm not sure how these stories will end, mine or ours, But I've had a recurring dream that has me nervous for out future. I was by myself in a field, sitting under a lone tree, It's twisted, long reaching branches giving me shade. I felt terribly thirsty, and abandoned, but strangely calm. To my right, far in the distance, there was a highway, but instead of cars, a mass of people, young people were walking steady, expressionless and without interaction, Connected to earbuds and typing on their phones. Some of the faces I recognized, but I knew they were different then the people I knew. then a massive cloud moved overhead, quickly, casting a shadow upon myself and the highway, then suddenly a loud shriek descended from the skies. Shrieking came lower and lower, then I saw the end, a mushroom of fire erupted over a distant city, punching a hole in the clouds and scratching the blue face of heaven. All I knew and loved was in this blast, blown away, and only the shadows captured by the flash of heat remained. As the shockwave came for me, I looked to my right, and wondered, in these last moments, why I should have to be alone. The blast hit me and I was stunned, but not hurt, and before leaving the dream, I came out of this paralysis in a field of wreckage. The tree was gone, not even a stump remained. And the grasses were replaced by concrete and twisted rebar. And to my right, I saw the remains an electronic billboard, still flickering it's message.

"Escape is just a click away"

I plan on rewriting the whole monologue, adding metaphors, before finalizing.
again, im just testing the field and seeing if theres any potential for it, let me know!
